Just watched the first three episodes of this anime. It's really good... except that they threw so many character names at me in the first ep that I got confused. And then a fair number of characters "disappeared" in the second episode, so it was all good that I didn't get the names down pat. Haha, I don't want to spoil the plot...

Anyway, all I can say is that Maria is now my inspiration to draw something gory... Haha.

Also started Kanamemo the other day. Humorous, but not as humorous as Maria+Holic. But hey, lolis are still cute... ;D

What I find more amusing is the voice actresses/actors for Saki, Umineko, Kanamemo, Maria+Holic, Maria-sama ga miteru... Marina Inoue, Miki Itō, Ami Koshimizu, Ueda Kana, Yui Horie, Rie Kugimiya, Yū Kobayashi... etc.

Anyway, I am amused as to how I update this dA journal and post no art. I'm a bit angry right now, so I guess channeling the anger to something creative would be ok. Except I can't really draw at work and I need to find printer paper... Hmm.

This is where I sort wish I knew how to read Japanese right now.

I got a used PSP (phat) on Friday, modded it and got the Gundam SEED VS. Z.A.F.T. (along with other games) game loaded on it.

...oh how the menu looks so foreign to me...

Failing at the missions too.

Got other games, but this Gundam one... gahhh, must figure it out.

The controls are so wonky with the PSP, compared to DS. I'm too used to playing the Gundam 00 game...

Oh well, back to figuring this thing out... haha.

Haven't been drawing or anything lately. Artistic dry spell. >__<;;

Been watching Saki and Kanamemo... both loli/shoujo-ai genres.

Work's been ok... nothing too hectic... I got a new computer there, so I am liking it a lot without the computer lag.

I think that's all... I am totally shafting my DS for this week to get used to the PSP. XD

I was wondering when I last updated my dA "journal" today... and discovered that, while I do go on dA every day, I haven't written any blurbs since the end of Reading Week (back in February).

Not much has happened since then, to be honest... second year came and went. Whaddya know, I got rehired at the same place for the summer, so that's what I've been doing since May... working.

Drawing's been an on/off thing lately. I suppose it's because of the lack of motivation.

I reformatted my laptop this weekend (after a successful installation of Windows 7, only to have it succumb to malware). Back to Windows XP because it is the one operating system I've known very well for about seven years. Sadly enough, my Paint Tool Sai trial actually expired before the reformat and when I reinstalled it two nights ago, it turns out that since my computer's ID is unique in SAI, I can't reformat and install it ever again. So the useful 'reset SAI's trial period' hack I had is now useless.

However, with Googling and a bit of guesswork, I managed to find a Chinese hack of the program. Believe me, SAI is worth the money, but I have no way of buying anything online (credit cards, yes, but that's a story in itself, I don't want to explain). when I get a new computer, I will definitely dish out the 58-60$CAD that SAI is worth. It's just one of those very versatile programs out there that's designed for WACOM tablets... the lines are really smooth and it's really good for sketching.

Anyway, enough rambling, just wanted to update this thing.
